Financial Interests

Patients have a right to know if their physician has a financial interest in the surgery center. A “financial interest” means that your physician may have an ownership or investment interest through equity, debt or other means in Community Center for Digestive Care. This center is jointly owned by Visionary Enterprises, Inc., Community Hospital Anderson, and some of the physicians from Central Indiana Gastroenterology Group. Someone from Central Indiana Gastroenterology Group will inform you if your designated physician has a financial interest in Community Center for Digestive Care, prior to scheduling your procedure at the center. As a patient you are free to choose the center or any facility for your procedures/services required, without a penalty, subject to any limitation of your health insurance. A list of Community Center for Digestive Care’s physician investors is available upon request.
